Our Story
Alisha Thomas began arranging her own boards for friends and family in 2018. They often encouraged her to sell them to the public, but she didn’t think there’d be much interest. Finally, after some persuasion, an Instagram poll and a desire for a creative outlet, she began taking custom orders in 2022.
Today, Betty Bloom’s has become much more than arranging photo-worthy boards. It’s our passion to help clients create memories, warm spaces and good conversation, all while enjoying unique and delicious ingredients.
We prep and assemble all orders in a state-inspected commercial kitchen and are fully insured.
Our Name
The name Betty Bloom’s was inspired by Alisha’s late grandmother, Betty Jane Lambert: Master of feeding a crowd and flower gardening extraordinaire.

About Alisha
Alisha was born and raised in the mountains of Western North Carolina. She currently resides in Sylva, NC with her husband, Phil, and their two dogs, Doc Watson and June Carter.
Chicken-n-dumplins, ice cream and cereal are her three main food groups. She has a great love for reading, 90s music, British television and cool mornings spent on the front porch with a hot cup of coffee.
